Health & Safety – The #1 Priority

As conference organisers of the CIF Health & Safety Summit, iQuest is committed to bringing you an enjoyable event experience while adhering to all recommendations for safety, sanitisation and social distancing from the HSE and the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET). As members of the Irish Exhibition Organisers Association (IEOA), we will implement the following protocols to assure the comfort, health, and safety of all our attendees, including:

Attendee Communication: Prior to the event all attendees will receive information on COVID-19 protocols being employed at this event. If an attendee feels unwell, has been placed on a leave of absence or has recent travel history to countries outside of the green list in the last 14 days, we request they do not attend this event and join us virtually.

Arrival: Access to event spaces will be via escalators for the majority of attendees. Lifts will be reserved for attendees with additional needs.

Signage: Signage will inform all attendees of the protocols in place to facilitate traffic flow, physical distancing and promote good hygiene at this event. COVID–19 physical distancing posters and floor marking are placed in prominent positions at the entrance and throughout the venue and staff will be assigned to ensure compliance.

Sanitisation Stations: Stations are placed at all entry and exit points and at regular places throughout the venue – we encourage all attendees to use these regularly. We request you avoid shaking hands with event participants.

Seating: Seating will adhere to physical distancing guidelines and access to the seating area will not include pinch points. Entry and exit flows in and out of the conference room will be designated in advance, using signage, floor markings, and our team, where required.

Consumables: We will provide the necessary health and safety consumables on request such as facemasks, tissues, hand sanitiser etc.

Safety: Plexiglas screens have been installed at all reception and registration desks and all event spaces will be well ventilated.

Networking Area: Exhibition stands will be spaced in accordance with social distancing policy and we request that exhibitors remain within their assigned space during networking and break times.

Hospitality: Service stations will be laid out with sufficient distance between attendee and hospitality team member.

Cleaning Plan: Cleaning and sanitising of bathrooms, registration desk, catering areas, touch points and equipment will be carried out by the event cleaning contractors at regular intervals.

Response: A dedicated team for all Health and Safety matters will be available for the duration of the conference. An isolation room is available in Croke Park for any attendee reporting any symptoms of COVID-19.

Contact Tracing: We will retain an accurate record of attendance for a period of one-month post-event in order to be in a position to contact attendees for the purposes of contact tracing, if required.

iQuest will continue to monitor guidelines from the HSE and the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) and update all attendees and partners of any updates or changes.
